Wonder Knack

Photographer, graphic designer and videographer Wonder Knack is an artist dedicated to the preservation of music and culture. As an impassioned artist, her works document many of her inspirations. She began shooting live music at age 16 and is still drawn to the spirit of music, reggae music in particular, today.

Early on, Wonder found inspiration in the works of Neville Garrick, Adrian Boot, Kate Simon and others who have been able to give insight into the lives and personalities of their subjects through photography and art. She is committed to leaving images for future generations and acknowledges the important work of those before her who have done the same.

Wonder has traveled throughout North America, Jamaica, Europe, Australia and Japan for her work and keeps a home base in Portland, Oregon, where she partners with husband Fred Knack at Knack Imaging. Specializing in multimedia services, graphic design, photography, video and motion graphics, their client roster includes Ziggy Marley, VP Records, Sly & Robbie, Stephen Marley, adidas, Freightliner and others.

"Food For the Masses" is her first book of photography where she draws the reader into the life and times of Michael Franti. As Wonder continues her work, from photography to design, she is developing a catalogue of valuable images to leave for all of our tomorrows.
